An adult monster survival-horror kinetic visual novel with clear influences from Resident Evil and Parasite Eve. In 2018, a contagion escapes into the city of Grimhaven, Washington, turning everything it touches into lust-fuelled monsters. Sisters Sarah and Ava have to traverse the city, evading the mutations on their way to sanctuary while unravelling the lies that hide the outbreak's true origin.
WeLoveMonsters renders the whole project in 3DCG with animated scenes throughout. v0.6.0 ships with 4,100+ renders and 250+ animations, plus ambience and full sound design that leans into the horror angle. The story is purely kinetic (no branching choices), the cast is two female protagonists, and the perspective alternates between Sarah and Ava as they survive different rooms of the same nightmare.
Content palette runs heavy on the monster end: tentacles, transformation, monster girl, futa/trans, group sex, multiple penetration, lactation, exhibitionism and lesbian routes, with horror imagery and graphic violence baked into the framing. v0.6.0 is the current free public build on itch.io; SubscribeStar and Ko-Fi backers fund continued development and get early access.
