Notice for the developer of Conway: anything on this page is meant to be your own free, public release. If that is not the case here, email us at contact [at] thegoonergames.com and we will edit the page or take it down. We take this seriously.
Copyright & Terms
The Gooner Games is a platform for free games. For Conway, the download links simply point to the developer's own public files, wherever they are: itch.io pages, free Patreon builds, the developer's official site, and other public sources. We do not host, repackage or modify any download.
Are you the developer and want this page removed or fixed? Two easy options: use our DMCA page, or just email contact [at] thegoonergames.com with proof you are the dev and tell us what to change. No paperwork needed, we will edit or remove it, no questions asked.
For visitors: every download link goes straight to the original file on its original host. We add nothing, change nothing, and inject nothing along the way.
Developer Notes
The game is currently very early in development.
It'll take a lot of work to get this over the finish line, but I hope you enjoy what is present already!
And if you would like to support the development (and in return get sweet perks such as early access to builds, sneak peeks for new art, etc.), then check out Patreon over here.
Conway drops you on a merchant ship in 1791 as a freshly enlisted sailor who's left an old life behind to chase the open sea. Most days are quiet, the crew is small enough to actually get to know, and how you spend your free hours port to port is entirely up to you.
The dev pitches it as relaxed, semi-linear and historically grounded slice-of-life, the opposite of an epic adventure: no battles, no destiny to fulfil, no Jolly Roger. Just friendships and intimate connections that build over a long voyage, with each crewmate carrying their own reason for being on board.
