Persistent saves (important): This port uses a second, persistent save location outside the app's own external storage directories. That means your save files and persistent data survive a full app uninstall. To make this work, the app needs permission to access the public external storage: grant it on first launch, or the app shuts down.
Your parents and their best friend (and business partner) die in an accident. You and his daughter are suddenly stuck with a precarious financial situation: your parents had taken heavy loans from the Stern Group to outfit their medical lab, and the prototype equipment they were building has almost no value. College is starting to look like something you might have to drop.
Your last shot: visit Mrs. von Stern, the CEO of the Stern Group, and hope she defers the loan. Instead, she offers a deal. Serve as household staff at her estate over the summer and the debt is forgiven. She only requires one thing of her servants: total obedience.
