Developer Notes
Insomnimaniac Games frames Headpats & Handholding as a slow, deliberately soft RPGM game: the cast does not get pushed past the protagonist's comfort, and the player's role is to read the room and let trust build at its own pace. The update path is incremental : each release adds character beats, not just CG.
Headpats & Handholding by Insomnimaniac Games is an RPGM wholesome corruption-adjacent sim where the gameplay loop is affection-building rather than escalation. Each character has a comfort gradient, and the script rewards letting it move at its own pace.
