Gameplay
Gameplay (after introduction) revolves around a daily cycle of issuing instructions to your minions and traveling about the environment to find people and resources as well as unraveling more of the storyline. Ultimately, the player will need to build up their lair and forces to fight a rival alien force, all while remaining undetected by the indigenous authorities. As the story progresses, more tech, options, and characters are revealed.
Invasive Species 2: The Hive by ArmyofRobots is an ongoing HTML sci-fi breeding sandbox about an invasive alien species whose breeding cycles route the gameplay loop directly. Sequel to the original Invasive Species, deeper mechanics, hive-focused.
