A 2DCG sci-fi visual novel built around deep character customisation and a space-adventure mystery. You wake up alone, naked and amnesiac on a spacecraft, and have to advance through the story to figure out who you are, what conspiracies surround you, and which of the people you meet you can actually trust.
Xperiment opens character creation wide: male, female or non-binary, any combination of body and genitalia you want. The romanceable cast, however, is all male, and the dev makes that clear upfront. A kink-toggle system lets you activate the content types you want, which adds scenes or extends existing ones.
Tone is dark with touches of humour. The world starts with humans only, but aliens (and, eventually, furries) are planned as the game grows. Tags lean sci-fi, character creation, text-based, gay, futa/trans protagonist, female protagonist, BDSM, corruption, slave, female and male domination, humiliation, group sex, multiple penetration. v0.52.1 is the current free public build on itch.io; Patreon and SubscribeStar backers fund continued development.
