After a recent tragedy you move in with an old family friend and start over in a new town full of people you've never met. The opening sets a deliberately slow-burn, character-driven pace, with the cast (Ashley the chronically-online romantic, Veronika the snarky goth vampire, Zoey the bubbly people-pleaser, and more) each carrying their own arcs and hidden layers.
New Horizons by rektangulus is a cozy furry VN + sandbox hybrid built in Ren'Py, with point-and-click location exploration, monster-girl routes alongside the rest of the cast, and an emphasis on letting relationships evolve naturally rather than rushing the romance beats.
