Developer Notes
DiscipleOfVirginia frames Of Birds and Bees as a Lovecraft-flavoured mystery built around a slow-burn transformation arc : the wasp in the box is the hook, the rest of the cast is what the curse warps once it starts spreading. Updates lean on choice-driven branches over scripted scenes, so what the protagonist becomes is shaped by who he listens to early on.
Of Birds and Bees by DiscipleOfVirginia opens on a Great Plains farmhouse where a titanium box in the basement hides a sleeping wasp. Solving the mystery around it pulls the protagonist into a slow, bizarre change neither he nor the women around him fully understand.
The tone is openly Lovecraft-leaning : thicc women, cursed objects, and a town that starts behaving stranger the deeper the box's influence reaches.
