A choice-based 3DCG visual novel with a detective mystery and paranormal spine. You play a private detective working alone to uncover the truth about Ruby Pumper, a young woman who vanished over a year ago while out looking for a new job. A long-dormant lead finally points to a remote family manor, and that is where the trail takes you. Whatever waits inside that manor is a long way from what you expected.
Vicxlose builds Shadows around branching choices, an optional in-game hint system, an unlockable gallery with scene replays + character profiles + achievements, and 1080p 30fps animations. The detective framing gives every scene a different surface motive than what is really going on under it.
Visuals are 3DCG with animated scenes. Tags lean heavily on darker kinks: paranormal, BDSM, slave, harem, male domination, futa/trans, trap, taboo, milf, lactation, gay, urination, with a male protagonist throughout. v0.9 is the current free public build on itch.io; SubscribeStar backers fund continued development.
