AI content disclosure
The developer is upfront about AI usage in the game's art:
- Backgrounds: most are made with Stable Diffusion 1.5 on a custom mix, then manually edited.
- Portraits and key art: still handmade.
- H-scenes (from v0.2.9 onwards): contain AI elements. The dev draws a base then runs img2img on top and edits.
If AI content is a dealbreaker, the game has an AI-NSFW toggle in the Preferences screen that reverts the h-scenes to their original handmade versions.
A dystopian sci-fi visual novel with strong Disco Elysium influences. You play a mid-level bureaucrat in the Imperium d'Espoir et de Deuil, a faltering empire of a million worlds slowly collapsing under its own paperwork. Your job is to cut through the red tape: resolve disputes, listen to angry people, sort out problems that shouldn't be your problem. Whether you exploit the system, set it on fire, or just sleep with people along the way is up to you.
Craft your bureaucrat by picking mind facets instead of stats: paperwork god, bleeding heart, self-serving striver, paranoid wreck, dangerously insane, in any combination you want. No grinding. No money, no affection meter, no resource management. Just dialogue and choices that change your story and the stories of people around you. Roughly 11 hours of gameplay as of v0.3.
The tone borrows from grimdark sci-fi but plays it personal rather than apocalyptic. Help people. Hurt people. Get pulled into side-stories that exceed your remit. Rub shoulders with scheming nobles, dodge bullets fired by desperate men. The sex is optional, the bureaucracy is not.
