Developer notes
News Desk is a 3DCG Ren'Py VN built around a workplace power struggle, with the corruption arc directed at Cassandra's daughter as a side-route to sabotage Cassandra herself. The dev ships frequent public builds; v1.04 is the current cut. Save compatibility across point releases is preserved unless the patch note explicitly says otherwise.
You play Garrick Reynolds, news co-anchor at a station about to be swallowed by a much bigger news corporation. Only one anchor will survive the merger - you or your co-host Cassandra Hamilton. Both of you are alphas who clawed your way to this chair, and neither of you is above sabotage to keep it. Her college-age daughter sounds like a reasonable place to start applying pressure. v1.04 is the current public build.
