NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper v0.15

A tech demo for a larger project from D.mon Games, built around a free use fantasy concept where reality and game mechanics start to overlap. Everyone around you behaves like a typical NPC, responding only when you trigger their scripted prompts. You, the player, can step outside those rules and interact with the world on your own terms.

NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper is the first slice of that vision: one character, point-and-click structure, and most of the planned full-game mechanics already in place. The pitch for the finished build is multiple characters, a proper story, and RPG systems on top: thief skills to steal from NPCs unnoticed, spells that change how you interact with them, and a charm stat to seduce them.
