A 2D adult visual novel with tabletop dice-and-cards gameplay, set in Hollywood, 1999. You play a washed-up talent agent under house arrest, stuck in your office trying to manage MJ, a young country girl who dreams of being an actress. From there, you decide whether you help her honestly toward stardom or use the position to take advantage of her.
Basilicata builds the loop as a stat-management training game: send MJ to work as a waitress, spend her earnings on drama and dance lessons, gym memberships, beauty salons, watch her Body and Mind stats rise, and unlock new opportunities as she crosses thresholds. The cards-and-dice layer feeds back into how each scene resolves.
Visuals are hand-traced 2D from real-photo references, with animated scenes and voice acting throughout. The dev has been transparent that each image still takes hours to colour, shade, and finish. Tags lean corruption, harem, management, female protagonist, milf, blackmail, exhibitionism, voiced, multiple endings, pregnancy, group sex, lesbian, with both male and female protagonist branches. v0.92 is the current free public build on itch.io; Patreon and SubscribeStar backers fund continued development.
