The lead, Sylvessa Moonfarer, has to cross Autumn Boulevard to reach the Castle. The journey runs through monsters that come at her two ways: the literal kind that block paths in the woods, and the human kind that try to talk her into staying.
The transformation arc opens up as you make those crossings: every choice reshapes how she looks and what the rest of the boulevard's residents are willing to do for or to her.
Autumn Boulevard by Disciple of Virginia sends Sylvessa Moonfarer toward the Castle along a road that monsters refuse to let her walk easy. The script lets her negotiate with the human ones and rewires her body around every concession she makes.
