Developer Notes
Message From Carter's Stories Hey all! This is my first attempt at making a game! I'm using this as an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the system so that in the future I can make games and stories with a lot more range. I am extremely excited for you to try Galactic Athletes: Red League. If there seems to be interest, when I feel confident that I have learned enough, I want to create a version where you play as an athlete trying to build your stats and compete in the league!
Support This is a one-man team! If you would like to support me, there are a number of ways you can!
- Join my Patreon: You will get access to new versions early and there are some fun rewards!
- Follow me on Twitter/X: You will get updated on progress and helps spread the word!
- Follow me on BlueSky: You will get updated on progress and helps spread the word!
Notes
- The first two updates will be big in size. After that, the size should lower as I will be taking steps to make the game more efficient in terms of size.
- I am focused on updating the game to progress the story first and then I will go back and fix the bugs and errors (Minor lighting issues in scenes). Massive game impacting bugs will obviously be a focus if they come up!
Galactic Athletes: Red League is the Red-bracket entry in Carter's Stories' gay sports VN universe. Same medic protagonist (Finn), same swimmer dream, same 20-event season grind, but a different cast of athletes and rivalries to work through. The Blue League covers the parallel bracket if you want to run both.
Nine romance routes thread through their own subplots while the main arc keeps moving. Choices nudge athlete performances mid-season if you want them to, and Finn settles into top, bottom or versatile depending on the kind of guy you build him into.
