The Gooner Games is a platform for free games. For Riverwood, the download links simply point to the developer's own public files, wherever they are: itch.io pages, free Patreon builds, the developer's official site, and other public sources. We do not host, repackage or modify any download.

Riverwood is an adult VN-style RPG with a deck-building combat system, currently a demo while the dev runs a Kickstarter for the full game. You play different adventurers across multiple quests, building and upgrading your deck as the enemies (and the ways they want to take you down) keep evolving.
The dev's framing is interesting: combat is built around respecting the player's content preferences as a gameplay layer, so the kinks you've opted into actually shape what you have to overcome strategically. Your own desires become hurdles you survive through tactical play.
