A character-driven horror VN with a slow-rolling apocalypse premise. The fog came in quietly. In a town in its off-season, no one noticed when the streets emptied or when people kept calling in sick. Then, while at the office, John and his coworker Kallie look out the window and watch the fog surround them. Cell service drops. Phone lines die. They are stranded, the outside world is gone, and stepping outside burns exposed skin.
ILS Productions frames TOXICity as smaller in scope than their previous projects, in service of a more intimate story. The cast you survive with are not pre-established love interests who like you from day one. Some are coworkers, sure, but you have to earn their trust through the choices you make and the conversations you have. Each of them has a life to return to, if any of them survives what is happening outside.
Visuals are 3DCG with animated scenes. Tags lean horror, graphic violence, harem, romance, group sex, with a male protagonist and a deliberately reduced cast. The dev flags the project as containing both adult and violent content. v0.18.0 is the current free public build on itch.io; Patreon and SubscribeStar backers fund continued development and get early releases.
